KTDC Periyar House is a budget jungle resort in Thekkady, Idukki district of Kerala. Periyar House is situated inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve near to Kumily-Thekkady road you will be able to see elephants, bison, sambar deer, barking deer, wild boar and a variety of birds here. If you are lucky, you may see a tiger, leopard, bear, wild dog, etc during the surrounding of the Periyar House.
